Personality: Usually quite friendly and helpful. There are times when she can get a bit moody, but she'll always try to stay positive when she's around friends. She's also very stubborn when she thinks she's right.
History: Raven's past is very complicated and a bit depressing, so she's chosen to forget most of her childhood. She's locked away her unwanted memories in a silver locket she wears around her neck. Not too long ago, she lived in Death City and had a few friends, plus someone she liked as more than a friend. But, one day, she simply disappeared. While she was gone, she learned how to control both her magic and her temper. She's gotten into quite a bit of trouble since then and she has a rather persistant bounty hunter after her, but she's sure she can take care of herself. Her appearance has changed a bit since she was last seen in the city, but now that she's finally come back to Death City, she's hoping that she may be able to find her friends again.

Personality: Quiet and polite. He was never very good at talking to people, which is why he still doesn't have a partner. The only person he can really talk to is his childhood friend, Alyvir. He's a major push-over, so Alyvir usually stays with him to make sure no one takes advantage of him.
History: Jax grew up with a somewhat normal family; a mom, a dad, and an older sister. When he was 6, his older sister died in a car accident. The tragedy created tension in the family, and eventually, his parents got a divorce. He lives with his mother, but still visits his father from time to time. When he was about 10, he started learning how to play the guitar. Even after five years of practice, he doesn't think he's very good. At age 13, he started to sing as well and he likes to put on shows in the park from time to time so he can earn money to support his mom.

Personality: Extremely friendly and outgoing. He won't hesitate to walk up to someone and say hello. He's always very positive, even in the worst situations. But, he's also very protective of Jax, since he sees him as a younger brother.
History: Alyvir never liked his parents, since they were often rude and abusive, so he was always hanging out at Jax's house. When Jax was going through hard times, Alyvir was always the one there to comfort him. When he was 16, he simply ditched his parents and moved into his own apartment. For the past year, he's been working in a cafe and painting in his spare time.

History: Aspen was created by Kaide to hunt down Raven, simply so he can steal her magic.

Species: Half witch, half Kishin
Personality: Cunning and greedy, yet also very charming. He'll do anything to get what he wants and he can always find a way to avoid doing things for others. In his spare time, he loves to create robots, since they're the only things that can really tolerate him for a long period of time.
History: No one knows where Kaide came from, but he seems to have a vague Irish accent, like Raven does. He's fluent in many languages, which suggests that he traveled quite a bit and stayed in places long enough to learn the language. He can be very charming, due to his melodious voice and natural charm, but his true nature shows after a while. He delights in stealing magic from other witches to make himself stronger and his current target is Raven.

Personality: Sarcastic and rude most of the time. She likes to push people around, which is why she doesn't have a weapon partner yet. Even though she's underage, she tends to drink every now and then and her father doesn't even seem to care.
History: Lucille was born in a small town down by the ocean. She wanted to surf pretty much ever since she could walk and when she was about 7, her mother took her out to the sea to teach her. Lucille eventually became very good at surfing and she would go down to the beach every day with her mom. But, when she was 11, her mother wiped out and drowned. Her father couldn't stand living near where his wife had died, so he and Lucille moved to Death City. Robbed of her passion and her mother, Lucille became bitter and negative. Every time someone offers to be her partner, she judges them in the harshest way and turns them down.

Personality: Sweet and caring. She's nice to everyone, until they irritate her too much. She's always ready to help a friend in need. She's also very hyper if she eats sweets.
History: Casey's parents were archeologists, so they traveled around a lot. She never had much time to make friends, but she still managed to remain very friendly and likable. Now that her parents have retired, they're all living in Death City so Casey can finally go to DWMA.

Species: Shadow Chrome*
Personality: Secretive and slightly paranoid. She's very quiet and tries her best to stay away from people. However, she is quite curious about things. She often comes off as nosy or creepy, because she'll stare, but never say a word.
History: Sixx is the only survivor of a species known as Shadow Chromes. Being the last of her kind made her highly desirable among a group called the Collectors. They desired the last of any species they could get their hands on and would often exterminate a whole species to get the last one. She was enslaved by one of the Collectors and treated as a servant for many years. She was rescued by a demon lord, who raised her as his own and became her adoptive father. However, her father was killed by demon hunters a year later. Desperate to get far away and forget her life of death and chaos, she became a traveller. She cut her hair short and began to wear baggy clothes so she wouldn't be recognized as a girl, because her father had always warned her of the troubles girls could get into when they were alone. She became withdrawn, believing that anyone she got close to would die. Eventually growing tired of the constant travelling, she's stopped in Death City, remembering the stories her father had told her about the city.
* Shadow Chrome: A species of humanoid beings, who are often mistaken for vampires, due to their paleness and aversion to light. Shadow Chromes are masters of the shadow arts and can even revert to a shadow-like form for travel or even to hide. They're naturally monochromatic, so they tend to love bright colors, yet they rarely wear them. They can't survive in direct sunlight for long. After only a minute in sunlight, they become severly sunburnt. Not too long afterwards, they'll begin to blister and eventually they'll burn to death as if they were in a fire.
